How could this happen?? How could Saakashvili speculate on Western help like he did? Why is Russia using such a heavy handed approach?? And above all, why do civilians have to die for such a useless cause?
I am left without real answers and am deeply saddned by what is happening. I hope this nightmare will stop very soon, before things really get out of hand.
My thoughts are with all people suffering from this war and also with all my dear friends in Georgia and the people we met on our trip, be it in Tbilisi, Gori, Zugdidi or wherever.

Non, je dois avouer qu'on n'a rien senti de particulier. A part les tensions presque devenues habituelles entre la Russie et la Géorgie depuis des mois si ce n'est des années.
